Arabic Speaking Nanny

We are a mixed British/Arab professional couple who work full time. We require a nanny to assist us with taking care of our 18 month old child and teach him Arabic. Duties include:

1. playing with and teaching the baby to speak Arabic during the day time 5 days a week;
2. very occasional baby sitting on a Friday or Saturday during the day;
3. picking baby up from nursery and taking him to various activities in cluding swimming lessons, play groups etc.
4. preparing meals for the baby and cooking occasional meals for the family (knowledge of Arabic and Western cooking required);
5. taking care of all aspects of the baby's well being including supervising nap times, teaching him skills, assisting with potty-training etc.
6. accompanying baby and wife on business trips as and when required (wife must travel often for work).

We have a full time live in house-keeper so only very occasional/light housekeeping duties will be required (e.g. if she is sick/on holiday).

The suitable candidate will:
1. have experience in taking care of children, pref. with a degree relating to education;
2. be fluent in written and spoken Arabic and English;
3. be able to cook Arabic and western cuisine;
4. be able to drive (pref. with a valid UAE driving license);
5. be able to swim.

Additional languages are a plus and we prefer a female over 35 years old. A passport from a western country is preferable as some of the business travel will be to the US and this would simplify visa issues.

The suitable candidate will be given a full sponsorship and use of the car. We are unable to provide accomodation but will pay a supplement to fund suitable and decent accomodation in Dubai. Salary will be very good and on par with a nursery school or teacher's assistant salary.
