The last decade has seen me work as a Projects-Factory Manager, on diverse Projects, and I have been successful in its Implementation and Management. I am conversant with MS Projects, Word & Excel besides given to learning newer techniques.

My professional experience is rich and varied, and my previous employers will testify that I exhibit the intelligence, initiative and drive that blend well in a mature and stable mind.

06/92 to 08/94 Company : Zubair Enterprises .LLC, Muscat, Oman.
Position : Project Manager

Worked as Project Manager for a new plant to be erected & commissioned. Due to various reasons this project had to be called off. Mean while I did a detailed Industrial Engineering study at Zubair Furnishing, one of the largest Joinery in Oman
During this period I gained considerable exposure to the Gulf environment, and had been interacting with various Ministries and other institutions in Oman. Had also worked on other proposals, viz:Oasis Water, and Gulf Foods which were later implemented.

09/94 to 05/95 Company : Sarco Enterprises .LLC, Muscat , Oman. Position : Factory Manager at their Furniture Factory.

The job included managing the daily affairs both at the factory and various sites besides interacting with suppliers. During this period I developed systems to enhance productivity, and gained experience on Installing and Commissioning a Joinery which includes the Machine shop, Carpentry and Finishing Departments.(viz: Painting, Lacquering, Polishing)

06/95 to 2/99 Company : Gulf Cutlery Industries llc, Jebel Ali. U.A.E
Position : Project-Factory Manager

Installed and Commissioned a USD 5 Million green field project. As Team leader I was responsible for the entire project and have had the opportunity of visiting and negotiating with major international machinery manufacturers.
Besides providing technical know-how for manufacture, I have designed low cost automation and provided answers to the conflicting HSE issues. This plant has been in operation since mid-1996.

09/06 to 09/09 Company: Modena Industries LLC - Jebel Ali
Position: Manager

Installed and Commissioned an AED 18 Million green field project for manufacture of Wooden Modular Furniture for Offices, Kitchens, & Bedrooms. As Team leader I was responsible for the entire project right from its inception to commissioning, and later managing the Plant. Besides providing technical know-how for manufacture, I was responsible for the entire gamut of Operations. This plant has been in operation since mid-2007 and employs 35 staff at the time of my departure.
