Intermediate Planner

Summary

An intermediate planner is required for the dynamic planning department of a leading contractor. Project wins within the utilities sector have led to this; an enthusiastic P3 planner is required immediately.

The company

My client is a leading contractor in the Civil Engineering sector. They specialise in complex engineering projects, and have a reputation for delivering high quality work to blue chip clients. Working from feasibility through to completion, this innovative company provides solutions on projects including bridges, roads, water, tunnelling and rail.

Their reputation for delivering excellent customer service has led to a turnover of circa £400mn. This is most impressive, given the fact that in 2001 their turnover was less than £180mn. Due to growth of the company (as demonstrated), and project wins, they currently have a unique opportunity for a project planner to join their expanding team.

This position is site based near Liverpool. Currently the company is working on high value water projects, including wastewater and clean water.

In order to apply for this role you must have the following experience:

- A minimum of 3 years project planning experience (other candidates may be considered)

- This experience can be gained within any sector, however preference will be given to candidates with experience within water/utilities

-You will have experience of creating project plans for large scale multi-million pound projects

-You must be proficient in the use of Primavera 3 planning software

Remuneration

For the successful applicant, our client will offer remuneration of up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
