Support analyst

My client; one of the UK's top consultancies currently have an exciting opportunity for a Support analyst. This is a permanent role which will be located in Derbyshire.

The purpose of this role is to provide application support to customers and local support for the Microsoft software development team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

*Support call management and resolution.
*Development and deployment of application changes, fixes and utilities.

Your skills will include:

*Experience of working in a structured application support role.
*Exposure to formal change, configuration and release management processes.
*MS SQL 2000 or above fundamentals.
*Analytical approach to testing, debugging and problem solving.
*Excellent written and verbal communication (English).
*This role may require some travel throughout the UK as dictated by customer and business demands.

Desirable skills include:

*ASP.Net support (VB.Net).
*C#.
*Experience of supporting Microsoft Content Management Server 2002 solutions.
*Exposure to ITIL.
*Current driving License.
