Transport Manager

The Background

A well established multi national chilled distributor are looking to recruit a permanent Transport/Logistics Manager due to expansion of the business.

The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing the daily traffic duties in excess of 55 vehicles per day, full accountability for the ongoing profit and loss of the operation whilst monitoring and reducing costs.

The Professional

You will possess exceptional leadership, organisational, communicational and people management skills and have a proven track record within a chilled FMCG or a similar fast-moving environment. A strong financial ability to manage a substantial budget is a pre requisite for this role coupled with the ability to build and develop client relationships. A National/International CPC qualification is desirable.
