Senior Manager Global Fleet

A Senior Manager Global Fleet position has become available with our client - a leading global medical technology company with leadership positions within multiple niche areas. Due to continued and successful growth, our client are looking for a senior fleet manager to joint their dynamic management team.

The Global Fleet (Snr) Manger will be directly responsible for the efficient management of our client's fleet of vehicles worldwide.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to join a dynamic company that believes in rewarding and enriching their employees, whilst providing a challenging and rewarding environment.

Key responsibilities:
·Developing, implementing, and maintaining a company-wide fleet strategy
·Leading supplier negotiations and relationships including all legal and contractual issues.
·Coordinating the activities of fleet coordinators in the different countries globally.
·Also leads the US Fleet Manager.
·Manage and execute ongoing cost saving and efficiency initiatives.
·Coordinating and maintaining fleet policies and procedures across countries
·Manage lease/buy decisions with Finance.
·Be familiar with legislation and other developments affecting fleet operation.
·Develop / implement training programs (i.e. driving safety)

Qualifications required for the position:
·Experience in fleet management with budgets in excess of €15m and fleets over 750 vehicles.
·Competence in managing change and influencing people across a multi-site organisation
·Full understanding of commercial vehicle markets and leasing
·Strong communication skills: able to communicate at executive/management level and at an operational level.
·Experience of negotiating and managing large contractual agreements for the delivery of European vehicles
·An ability to provide a pro-active internal support and service to end-users
·Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree a plus.
·Proficient in Microsoft Office.
·Fluent English is required for the role: both excellent written and oral communication skills. In addition, at least one West European language is an
·English and preferably one or more other languages
·Experienced in working with content management systems
·Travel is a requirement and is expected to be 20-40% of the time or whenever appropriate to the role responsibilities.
