This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with testing experience and managerial skills to join a globally recognised employer and the UK's leading manufacturer of internal building systems.

Based at their facility in Leicestershire, as Fire Test Manager you will provide a professional, confident and accurate testing service to the company and external clients in the field of fire testing.

Key areas will include:
- Continuing improvement and development of the fire testing facilities to provide an efficient and cost effective service
- Achieving safety standards of zero incidents
- Facilitating the personal development of staff to enable them to achieve their full potential
- Communicating and implementing organisation policies and goals
- Utilising lean principles to meet test report goals and lead times
- Meeting targets of safety plan.
- Ensuring there is regular customer contact

Qualifications and experience required:
- Preferably a science or engineering based degree
- Experience of testing to EN, BS and/or CE standards
- Candidates with fire testing experience are preferred but this is not essential as specific training will be given
- Managerial / team leading skills
- Assessment knowledge is an advantage

Salary circa £35k + excellent company benefits.
