Finance Control Manager (Russian Speaking)

Based in Brentwood, our client seeks a qualified accountant to join them as a Finance Manager. This job would suit a mobile candidate as initially there will be extensive travel abroad. The travelwill equate to approximately the first six months of the role.After thisas the relationships are built with other offices across Europe and the Middle East then theEssex office will become thebaseand the travel will become less, equating to approximately every two weeks

This role is key in developing strong relationships with other offices whilst understanding their cultural differences and overcoming the language barriers. With this in mind the need for fluent English & Russian is a must.

To carry out internal control reviews in the region.

Assist with reviews of the monthly financial reports and follow up accordingly

Ensure local control on working capital, principally debtors and capex are complied with

Ensure statutory reporting within statutory deadlines is performed by subordinates

Ensure internal and external audit report issues are followed up.

Maintaining strong internal control environment and carry out reviews of controls

Work with Group internal and external auditors as required

To ensure the finance activities comply with the highest standards of accuracy, validity and ethics and ensure adherence to thecompany accounting policies

Assist, in terms of finance activities, the integration of all existing and future acquisitions for the companyin the EMEA region.

To assist with any shared service centre creation.
