Senior / Managing Consultant / Business Developer, Public Se

My client is a global provider of end-to-end consulting and technology solutions to major corporate clients and the public sector.

Its rapidly expanding Government services practice is looking for seasoned management consultants (both delivery and sales) who have consulted to central/local government in areas such as:

· Performance Improvement (Lean/Six Sigma)
· Change Management
· Procurement/Commissioning
· Supply Chain
· Business Modeling
· Organisational Change
· Strategy

You will have:

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
· Deep knowledge of Scottish Public Sector;
· Extensive consulting experience with major public sector organisation or consultancy;
· Understand the buying behaviour of public sector clients in Scotland;
· Extensive contacts and well respected in the Scottish government consulting market;
· Team player with strong intellect and strong interpersonal skills.

For more senior positions, strong evidence of winning business will be required as well as:

· Opening doors, setting up and holding conversations with senior policy makers and Executives to identify client problems and discuss solutions.
· Leading the development of thought leadership
· Helping sell and deliver consulting projects, working closely with other consultants;
