I am currently recruiting for an International Freight Forwarder on behalf of our client. The purpose of the role is to broker transport business by matching transport requirements with capacity and making a margin from the transaction. It includes developing existing contacts, finding and developing new contacts and maintaining good relationships through high service levels. To be considering for the position you must demonstrate previous industry experience.
You will be required to Forwarding/ Broking, Contacting existing clients (Customer and Carriers) and transacting business on the system in the required process, growing existing client work by understanding client needs, finding and developing new contacts as business partners from enquiry to order placement .You will be quoting customers for work based on knowledge of industry costs.
as well as managing service levels for all clients and solving problems in an effective way. You must be service driven and client focussed with a strong industry knowledge and negotiating skills. One of the following languages is required: German, French, Spanish, Czech, Romanian, Polish, Italian, and Hungarian.

Location: South East England or West Midlands

Salary: 20000 30000 depending on experience

Only applicants with a previous transport /forwarding experience will be considered for the role.
