Our Client is a leading Real Estate Consultancy.

The main duties of the Planner are to assist in the provision of a professional and technically competent service to customers thereby maximising fee-earning opportunities and raising brand awareness which ensures retained customer loyalty, business referrals and the good reputation of Our Client.

Responsibilities:

Business Development and Service Delivery

• Attend external PR and networking events as required with senior colleagues.
• Develop own relationships and communicate effectively with some existing customers of senior colleagues by acting as "no. 2" dealing with issues within own capability.
• Through professional and customer focused behaviour and product knowledge promote and protect Our Client and the brand and where opportunities arise discuss VW product offering with existing customers.
• Start to build own network of local business and local authority contacts.
• Assist senior colleagues with preparation for customer/planning presentations.
• Support senior colleagues with key customer accounts and seek guidance as appropriate.
o Complete all necessary planning related documentation and paperwork within prescribed and negotiated timescales and submit to senior colleagues for approval
o Produce draft proofs and statements for senior colleagues and for own projects which are then checked by senior colleagues
o Attend planning meetings and planning committee (including evening meetings) and assist senior colleagues with presentations by taking accurate notes of meetings.
• With support from senior colleagues manage own work and projects and delegated work assisting senior colleagues, delivering high quality results to meet agreed and prescribed timescales and SLAs as appropriate adhering to agreed formats for reporting/document delivery etc..
• Deliver services and work for internal customers adhering to same high standards promoted for external customers.
• Adhere to Our Client customer service standards and Service Level Agreements.

* Confidence when dealing with people at all levels both internal and external.

* Tact and diplomacy.
* Developing Analytical skills.
* Minimum of 1 year post degree & Post Grad Diploma work experience in Planning environment or two years post degree work experience in Planning environment and working towards Post Grad Diploma e.g. day release
* Working in a team environment and with the public
