Russian Speaking Educational Consultant

Carfax Educational Consultants is a fast growing dynamic company that provides academic advice to influential families from abroad, mainly from Russia and Eastern Europe. The company has offices in London and Moscow and its own preparatory tutorial centre in Oxford.

We advise clients on all aspects of education in Britain, from primary school to university level. We advise on school selection, help with the entry process and also supervise children who are currently studying at boarding schools in the UK.

Responsibilities:

- devising and executing educational strategies to fulfil the aims set by our clients.
- meeting and communicating with potential clients, creating a proposal most suited to their circumstances.
- organising academic assessments.
- coordinating the process of preparation for school/university entrance: completing applications, writing supporting reports, communicating with clients and schools, accompanying clients on school/university visits.
- supervising children who are at boarding schools in the UK and also at our preparatory centre in Oxford, closely monitoring their academic progress and general wellbeing, anticipating and preventing difficulties, arranging extra tuition when needed.
- maintaining close contact with children in schools and visiting them regularly.
- acting as the main point of contact between the school and parents, attending formal school functions on parents behalf.
- ensuring that all the necessary administrative arrangements are in place: accommodation, transport, visa, arrangements for school exeats and holidays, mobile phones, medical insurance.
- might be required to travel to London and Moscow offices.

Skills and requirements:

UK educated, good knowledge of the UK private school system, fluent in Russian, excellent communication and coordination skills, able to work under pressure, good rapport with children, must show initiative, full clean UK driving licence
