REGULATORY TOXICOLOGIST / REACH TOXICOLOGIST - LONDON -

This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to work within the area that works against ANIMAL TESTING. You will work at heart of the company that campaigns against such actions via peaceful processes. As a Regulatory Toxicologist, you will work in conjunction with the company and authorities to compile a strategy for solutions against Animal Testing. You will be expected to represent the company and other campaigners to help increase awareness of better methods other than Animal testing.

If such issues are close to your heart, use your gravitas and drive to help this organisation achieve greater good for the industry and put a stop to Animal Testing.

As a Regulatory Toxicologist you will:

Leader in providing scientific response to chemicals legislation and other toxicological issues

Develop company strategy against animal testing with regard to REACH. This will be to help provide alternative solutions

Act as key contact for the ECEAE at the European Chemicals Agency

Represent the company by acting as key contact internally and externally in relation to all REACH matters

If necessary, provide advice to the CEO and others on issues relating to toxicity testing on animals, scientific advice and solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

PhD, MSc or similar POST GRADUATE qualification within Toxicology
Experience of toxicological research either in vitro and in vivo. NOT FROM ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Practice experience and strong knowledge of REACH.
Willingness to travel regularly
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to present to large audiences and confidence.
