My client is a niche public sector consultancy set up by former Big 4 partners who saw a niche in the market for a core business process consultancy, without recourse to peddle large-scale IT solutions, which many public sector buyers were fed up with.

Currently 60 strong and looking for 30 more heads over the next 2/3 years, they compete head to head with much larger organisations, and regularly beat them in the tender process

Dealing with some of the most pressing issues in government, combined with an ethos within the firm that encourages free-thinking and collaborative support, my client would make an excellent home for those consultants slightly disillusioned with the bigger players.

Essential Requirements:
Strategic sourcing or category management (from consulting or industry) experience to include:

· Baselining
· Supply Market Management
· Requirements Capture
· Tender Document Creation
· Negotiation
· Continuous Improvement
· Benefits Tracking and Reporting
· Contracts and Contracting

Client Relationship Management
Understanding of procurement best practice
CIPS qualified or working towards

Timeframes:
Ongoing

Salary & Package:
£30,000 - £60,000 + bonus + package
