URGENT: Senior Data Planner - £40-45k - London - Database Marketing

A specialist Database and Direct Marketing Agency is seeking a Senior Data Planner to join their growing team based in Central London. The successful candidate will come from an agency background where they have been involved in data planning and using data analysis to determine business and communications strategies and plans.

The Role
The Senior Data Planner will work with Account Directors, Data Analysts, Project Managers and the MD to provide consultancy and translate analysis into valid commercial delivery. In addition they will also be responsible for:

*Translating client proposals into data processing briefs (internal or external)
*Provide direction on what type of analysis is carried out and how the data is segmented to the Data Analysts
*Conducting campaign response analysis and making recommendations on how targeting can be refined in order to improve results
*Keeping abreast of all data-related developments within the direct marketing and data industries.

This is a role where you will be involved in planning data and potentially analysing the data as well.

Required Skills
*In-depth knowledge of data driven marketing
*Excellent understanding of database marketing techniques
*Experience in segmenting customer data, and applying and improving contact strategies around those customer segments.
*Advanced level knowledge of analysis and statistical skills and practical knowledge of analytical tools (e.g. FastStats, Alterian, SmartFocus, SPSS, SAS)
*Previous experience providing Customer Insight Analysis particularly Profiling, Segmentation and Life Time Value Analysis
*Excellent communicator, able to present complex technical ideas to a wide non-technical audience

The ideal candidate will have previous Data Planning experience within a Database and Direct Marketing agency and have in depth understanding of Customer Behaviour Data.

The company offers a good salary and the opportunity to work for a growing market specialist. They are based in Central London in a commutable location from in and around London and from North, East and South of Greater London.

They are interviewing in the week beginning 20th April and are looking to hire ASAP; the candidate will need to start before the end of May (or ASAP).
