"A successful, professional new business executive is required to identify and win profitable new clients with the European Energy and commodities wholesale derivatives marketplace.The New Business Sales executive will work to build and maintain a pipeline of sales prospects within the current target market. You will develop these sales opportunities with a mixture of cold calling, research, networking and any other means. To aim is to establish good relationships with prospects and clients to secure recommendations, with a goal of establishing a quality contact network to meet long term sales objectives. You must be able to understand the clients marketplace and the likely direction of their business in order to maximise your revenue.To be a successful applicant you must be able to show track record of complex sales success preferably in software or financial services. A strong and recent background in developing new business together with strong entreprenuerial skills and genuine commercial acumen will be identified as the winning formula.You must have the ability to deal at C level developing a contact network within each account. To be able to apply for the role successfully, you must have a basic understanding of the industry preferably within front/middle/back office in a brokerage/commodities/financial trading environment. Knowledge of Wholesale European Energy related commodities market will be a distinct advantage and a preferable requirement.You must ideally speak Fluent German.
