Risk Manager - Arrears Strategy - SW - £45-£60k + Bonus & Benefits

Leading financial services company with a global presence have an urgent need to supplement their Risk Management team.

This is a niche senior management position which the main purpose is to drive value for the business by identifying strategies and testing opportunities, implementing them in a cost-effective way and championing the results. It is a strategic role with leadership duties of an analytical team who are in charge of setting out credit policy and strategy.

Core accountabilities are:
§ Assist in defining and driving forward the strategic plan for customer portfolios.

§ Review, understand and recommend improvements to current and potential credit policy and strategy through in depth analysis of account performance.

§ Understand portfolio metrics and trends and provide insight and direction into detailed analysis.

§ Ensure timescales met for all credit risk projects and initiatives.

§ Provide accurate and detailed information to key stakeholders on the performance of customer portfolios.

§ Coach, support and mentor a team of experienced analysts using SAS & SQL

You will have a strong Risk background preferably with experience in Policy, Impairment, Pricing or Reporting. You will have a highly analytical background with experience of Modelling, SAS and line/project management.
