Sanctions Manager - London ORMidlands - £40-£50k + Bonus & Benefits

Leading global financial organization are increasing their capability in their Financial Crime unit and need to fill an important role as a Sanctions Manager.

The core of this role is make sure all accounts and assets are frozen if records match to the sanctions list released by HM Treasury.

This is a role that has an extremely high level of responsibility - ramifications of non compliance to policy are very high to the entire group.

The core of the role and knowledge required include:

-Making decisions on behalf of the Bank pertaining to Sanctions including re-freezing, approval of payment referrals etc
-Investigation of breaches/potential breaches in Sanctions policy
-Knowledge of Ltd companies and Trusts
-Excellent Stakeholder management - very complex hierarchy with multiple stakeholders
-Knowledge of Sanctions from a banking perspective
-Knowledge of AML, Risk Management and Regulatory market

You will have:

-Excellent Project Management skills
-Communication - you will need to be able to present and influence at a senior level
-Strong analytical ability
-Excellent Decision making ability
-Highly organized with excellent time-lining ability
