General areas of responsibility are as follows: Financial Close Process (approximately 25% of time): Monitor and reconcile financial activity from the front of house system into the SAP general ledger system, for all of the European countries that are serviced by ESCO. Provide Assistance in Issue Management and Resolution (approximately 30% of time): Engage in recurring meetings with the various operations teams in discussing issues encountered during the period and prepare suggestions as to how they can be resolved. Drive implementation as appropriate. Identify financial issues created by new and unusual types of transactions within the FOH system, including (but certainly not limited to): processing of foreign currency contracts, new product types, new VAT rules, and changes in distribution and warehousing partners and/or processes. Accounts Payable and Vendor Management (approximately 15% of time): Reconcile Disney payables to key suppliers with the receivables of the suppliers, and work to correct any variances on a timely basis.
