ROLE OBJECTIVE:
As an Oracle DBA for developer, you will be responsible for the quality and owner of the development methodology and its application by Oracle developers within the IS GMK PCA team. You will also be responsible for the overall design of the Oracle architecture from a developer's perspective.

For this function you will need to accomplish the following:
-Design/adapt/maintain the Oracle development methodology
-Make sure the chosen methodology is known and respected by all developers
-Assist developers and analysts in modeling the physical (and to some extent the logical) data-model
-Assist/propose and roll-out architectural design relating to Oracle DB in the context of the InfoHub
platform
-Develop Oracle PL/SQL and SQL-based solutions inline with Oracle's best practices and inline with
Perform 3rd line support and night and week-end on-call activity and incident solving

OUTLINE
IS (Information Services) Global Markets is the department responsible for the development of applications specifically for the trading floor activities (front, back-office, risk, financial control systems). The applications can be either in-house developed or package-based.

The systems are used cross-border by Traders, Sales dealers and Back-Officers through all dealing floors (Brussels, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, London, Poland, New-York, Houston & Asia) to perform front-office functions such as pricing, deal capture, position keeping, revaluation and sensitivity analysis as well as back-office processes (accounting, payments, messaging, reporting, ...), risk management (revaluation, VaR, credit lines monitoring, ...) and financial control / PCA (global reporting,profitability, PnL, ...) . The product scope is linked to the Foreign Exchange, Money Market & Fixed-Income markets, equity, energy and commodities, capital market for both cash and (exotic) derivatives.

IS GMK PCA is responsible for the Datawarehouse (Oracle platform), mainly used by PCA (Performance,
Consolidation and Accounting) to control the worldwide activity of Global Markets and we currently
require additional people to work on the rebuild of the platform to
-Make it full STP, coherent and user friendly to avoid end user workaround solutions
-Extend the scope to all foreign entities (integration and distribution)
-Fasten the integration of new -or evolutions of -Front and Back Office Systems

BUSINESS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* A preceding expertise in data warehouse custom developed Oracle-based applications
-A preceding expertise in the financial sector is a differentiator

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development (>5years)
* Expertise with Oracle APEX is a differentiator.
* Should have at least DBA OCA or a developer
* OCP on Oracle 9i and above
* Relying on the above previous expertise, should be able to deliver scalable solutions in reasonable time-frames using a broad range of Oracle DB features
* Should be able to produce technical specs based on functional specs
- Should be able to produce a physical data mode
