COST ACCOUNTANT

As a Cost Accountant you will have to :

- Understand the business and the production process; gain full understanding of the cost accounting process
- Perform all cost accounting and inventory accounting for all products in the EAME region
- Assure correct cost accounting by close follow up and working together with production unit
- Implement the SAP standard and settings in the EAME area
- Liaise closely with HQ Cost Accounting Manager in order to apply guidelines in the EAME area
- Take the lead in budgeting, forecasting and special analysis as to production and cost accounting in order to support management

More specific:
- Calculation and maintenance of the cost standards
- Work with HQ and Operations to upgrade existing cost reports
- Provide monthly comments as to deviations and changes
- Improve effectiveness of the budget & forecasting process in EAME as to cost accounting and standard costing
- Work closely with SAP implementation team as to transition to SAP;
- Work on ad hoc projects either within field of cost accounting or general accounting/finance
