Assistant Controller - 75K in Naples/Ft. Myers

Assists in the management of all functions associated with the total
business/finance operations of the resort. Responsibility includes
formulation and administration of resort policy concerning accounting,
payroll, purchasing and risk management operations. Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to, planning, organizing, staffing,and
resources of the resort.
• 3 years experience in a hotel/resort environment.
• Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal.
• Skill in completing entries required for preparation of the financial
• statements
• Ability to review statements for inaccurate data and make corrections
• within the following period
• Oversee all operational accounting for the property
• Assist Controller with preparation of monthly/annual forecasts and budgets.
• Follow up on assignments given by Controller.
• Assume responsibilities of the Controller in their absence
• Skills in clearly reconciling the balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
• Skills in establishing balances in accruals, pre-paid, and other accounts
• Using proper accrual methods and expense realization logic.
• This is a hands on position. Experience with Spriger Miller is
desirable.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
