Chief Accountant Officer-Sarasota, FL -$140,000 +

The Chief Accounting Officer will be reporting to the Senior VP of our
National MRI Division . He or she will take an active role in strategic
planning, financial analysis, policy development/deployment, problem
resolution and financial communication to the Executive and Sr. Management
teams with on-going financial analysis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following, but other duties may be assigned.
1. Overall responsibility for the management and direction of the
Company's accounting function. Manage a staff with responsibility for all
aspects of the Company's daily accounting operations, tax function and the
related formulation and administration of the company's overall accounting
policies.
a. Coordinate and manage work flow of department to ensure timely
processing of relevant data.
b. Identify weaknesses in the company which hinder the accurate reporting
of the financial condition of the company. Develop policies and procedures
to minimize or eliminate those weaknesses.
2. Provide technical expertise with regard to GAAP, FASB and SEC
regulations to Management, department heads and third parties.
a. Manage preparation of technical analysis by accounting staff in
responding to inquiries regarding proper accounting treatment of items.
b. Provide guidance to other departments and staff in the set-up of new
revenue/expense item and proper treatment to assure compliance and
adequacy of controls with current regulations.
c. Direct activities of department staff to assist departments and/or
individuals with special projects including research and analysis.
d. Evaluate and communicate major changes in regulations affecting
accounting requirements to appropriate staff.
3. Direct, manage and provide guidance in the coordination of the
activities of Financial Reporting Manager to plan appropriate activities
to ensure:
a. Process of financial reporting provides accuracy and timeliness of data
reported.
b. Coordination of data presented in the company's annual report.
c. Development of requested traditional and non-traditional financial data
presentations.
d. Proper maintenance of the company's fixed assets system relative to all
subsidiaries of the holding company.
e. Timely and accurate completion of reconciliations performed by
accounting staff
4. Ensure that all reports and disclosures comply with applicable
governmental regulations professional standards and organizational policies.
a. Recommend or implement modifications to organizational reporting and/or
accounting practices, as necessary to comply with reporting requirements.
b. Confer with appropriate individuals to assure proper interpretation of
reporting and/or accounting requirements/standards.
5. Maintain current knowledge of applicable governmental regulations,
professional standards and organizational policies.
a. Attend continuing education programs designed to enhance knowledge of
current professional standards.
b. Study industry publications and/or attend industry meetings to learn of
emerging/current issues.
c. Maintain knowledge of current organizational policies.
6. Administration of company's accounting systems to maintain accurate
financial records.
a. Establishing and directing organization-wide accounting policy.
b. Monitor effectiveness of controls to prevent circumvention of
established systems (such as prohibition of issuance of official checks
for payment to vendors).
c. Receive and evaluate recommendations from accounting staff regarding
improvements to accounting policies and procedures which serve to provide
assurance of the integrity of data appearing on the company's systems
utilized by the department.
7. Direct and manage the Company's in-house corporate tax function and
interfacing with outside tax consultants.

Interpersonal Relationships:
As a representative of A-1 Imaging, all comments, attitudes, actions and

Position Requirements:
- CPA required
- Big 4 accounting experience strongly preferred
- MBA strongly preferred
- Previous experience preparing companies for initial public offerings
- 7+ years previous accounting management experience
- Experience in financial reporting, forecasting, modeling and analysis,
cash flow management with a strong operational focus
- Extensive project finance experience
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
- SEC 10Q/K preparation
- Great Plains
- FRX
