Description:
The Regional Director's role is to lead, manage, mentor and support a regional Proposal and Contract Management team.

Key Accountabilities

- Line manages staff
- Lead staff to achieve department business objectives
- Quality review and audit of processes
- Schedules and prioritizes workload
- Assists staff in developing proposal and negotiation strategies
- Responsible for proposals and negotiations for global, strategic accounts
- Participates in client meetings to discuss procedures and policies
- Maintains strong relationship with Project Management, Account Management, Legal and Finance
- Staff training and development
- Customize the company templates to meet client template requirements
- Leads the development and testing of tools and procedures
- May develop and conduct training to Proposal and Contract Management staff and other teams
- May serve as proposal and contract assignor
- Utilizes systems for reporting purposes and metrics
' May have responsibility for local budget

Education

- Bachelors Degree in Life Science, Business or equivalent. MBA, Ph.D. or equivalent preferred

Language Skills

- Fluent in English, oral and written

Minimum Work Experience

- Comprehensive knowledge of proposal and contract management with extensive previous experience in proposal development or contract administration
- Experience in CRO or pharmaceutical field preferred
- Previous experience in management of staff and ability to coordinate workflow
