CLIENT - A major US multinational OEM, who has a very successful division that designs and manufactures security relevant product and systems equipments the focus of this role being in the intruder alarm sector on Sensors and Accessories. The EMEA market leader in intrusion sector, with 700 employees, including own design team, in Europe.

ROLE - Test Manager - reporting to the EMEA Test Leader and responsible for the following:-

*Review, Schematics, PCB layout, Mechanical parts, mechanical assembly, test point coverage, test point access, compliance with the test strategy, Software test functions.
*Realise and follow the test planning for the development of the test equipment and follow the availability of the production tools.
*Create and maintain the test specification that will be the starting point to quote the test equipments.
*Manage the different subcontractors to get the different equipments on time.
*Create and debug the test sequences (with TestStand 3.5 and Labview 8.2).
*Ensure the quality of the test equipment using Six Sigma tools (Gage R&R ...)
*Ensure that the design is compliant with the specification and the Six Sigma requirements.
*Provide to the production department, all the documentation of the equipment to allow an easy use and maintenance.
*Give all support to the production department in case of problems in the test equipments.

PERSON SPEC - higher weighting more important
*10 - Solid work experience, and successful track record as a Test manager in electronic manufacturing products environment
*10 - Leadership capability - to lead, motivate, and influence a small team towards key business goals, and initiatives
*10 - Depth of experience in Electronics: be able to read and understand schematics, but also realise small designs for test purposes.
*10 - Depth of experience in Programming: Labview and TestStand skills to write the test programs used for manufacturing.
*10 - Experience of Hardware knowledge: PXI chassis, Analog, measurement environments etc
*10 - Strong experience in project management - ability to direct & control project deliveries, be able to create and follow the test planning, with the management of the subcontractors.
*10 - Team player: be able to integrate the team and be part of it.
*10 - Impact, presence & good communicator- must be able to interface directly at all levels
*10 - Highly analytical, with evidence of strong research, problem analysis, judgement and decision making
*10 - Languages - Fluency in English and French essential
