Job Summary



Provide Systems and Telecommunication services, maintenance, and support.

Negotiate with providers of System Telecom contracts.

Manage the acquisition of assets to maintain the necessary infrastructure.

Operates programs and maintains the computer centre equipment.

Design, program and maintain systems.

Budget Preparation.

Approval and screening of invoices.



Specific Duties



1. Configuration, operation and maintenance of Computer and Telecommunications equipment (servers, routers, hubs, workstations, printers, etc.) and Software (Windows XP, Microsoft Office XP, Lotus Notes, Oracle, Unix, Cisco programming, SAP, Windows 200 server, Windows 2003 server and Meridian).



2. Service contract negotiation with Systems Telecommunications providers with the mission of getting the highest quality at the lowest price possible.



3. Prepare yearly budget and execute it as required within the department.



4. Acquire the assets needed to guarantee the normal operations of the infrastructure needed for the company. This includes purchase of computers, laptops, printers, servers, workstations, etc.



5. Provide the necessary screening to invoices received by Systems and Telecommunications providers and approves those that meet all requirements.



6. Provide support to Local and Remote users on an array of different areas of systems and Telecommunication including: Email support, Internet access, Server support, PC support, printer support, telephone support, etc.



7. Define, design, program and maintain systems that are out of the SAP scope that are required by the company.



8. Design and maintain bridge, Telecom Video Conference equipment for the company.
