The position



The Sales Order Support position has a coordinating roll for various processes and provides communication to all involved disciplines. This position contributes to the FEI's quarterly bookings & revenue figures and implements the mission of the team 'You sell, we handle" to support sales in the field through administrative activities.



Main Tasks



Specific Responsibilities include:



·Daily Sales Support to assigned regions on pre-sales (examples: configuration issues; compatibility issues; availability & pricing)


·Non Standard Request (NSR) handling for all regions via Team Track. Operational support to Sales, Service and Market Division representatives. Interfacing with Commitment Review Boards (CRB). Attending weekly CRB meetings.


·Sub-owner of processes/procedures described to support NSR handling


·Operational Support to bookings & revenue issues. Joining weekly logistic meetings with Order Desks to get visibility on unclear orders and take action or define ownership


·Organization Customer Witnessed Acceptance Test (CWAT). Owner of planning; agenda; invitations and hosting customers and account management visiting factory location. Coordination of transport, lunches, VIP dinners etc. Documenting and monitoring follow-up test protocol. Main deliverable is a signed-off CWAT protocol by customer which means green light to ship tool


·Events Support. Ownership of various logistics & service scenarios for events. Includes monitoring status CAPEX; inventory control and interfacing with all involved disciplines (Marketing; local organizing committees, Service management. etc.)


·Back up Support to other Sales Operations team members on order processing and telephone support


·PO- review and order processing of upgrade orders. Includes data entry and communication to the customer


·Interfacing with FEI certified. Provide visibility on second hand business and inventory


·Quotation Support. Management of line items and data to be added to the CRM data base to enable clean quotes by Account Management.


·CRM 'Help Desk function'. Assist account/sales management with CRM handling. Not IT specific but more functional support. Become super user to train the field and act as information resource for IT/Business Analysts.




Requirements



This position is ideal for persons who like to work within a dynamic and hectic environment with WW networking, including contacts with customers directly. The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:



·University Degree plus 1-2 years relevant work experience


·IT Skills (Microsoft packages, ERP system experience (SAP, PeopleSoft, CRM) highly desired


·Knowledge of Team Track systems benefits to the execution of the job


·Purchase Order review competence (terms & conditions)


·Knowledge of International Trading (Export, local requirements, tender procedures) is required


·Highly Organized approach to work (coordination- and prioritizing skills, self supportive)


·Attentive to quotation and order details and accurate in processing of data via the various IT systems. Needs to understand that his/her output is vital to execution of an order and customer satisfaction.


·Understanding of global and local processes and takes initiatives for process improvements where applicable
