JavaScript Developer

This Amsterdam-based company is looking for a JavaScript Developer to aid in the development of cutting-edge web applications. Your Role... The JavaScript Developer is responsible for the technical realization of the projects. You will work in close harmony with Interaction Design, Visual Design and Back-End Development teams. Additionally, you will collaborate with the R&D team to shape the future of the software. * Create software specifications and develop front-end interfaces. * Providing time estimations and participate in budget assessments. * Coach and mentor Junior Developers. * Participate in pre-sales and pitching activities to win accounts and projects. * Participate in requirement gathering to define technical requirements and features. * Co-define the tactical direction concerning GUI development. Your Profile... * 3+ years experience developing applications for the Internet. * Expert knowledge of CSS, XHTML, JavaScript and web standards. * Experience with XSLT and W3C DOM. * Experience applying methodology in a professional and structured environment. * Knowledge of the differences between browsers and their implementation of CSS. * Passion for web technologies and the drive to innovate and motivate. * University Degree or relevant IT qualifications. * Excellent English communication skills - both written and spoken. * The employer requires that all applicants have permission to work in The Netherlands/Europe or qualify for the Working Holiday visa (Australian, New Zealand or Canadian citizens only).
