Senior Java Web Developer -Amsterdam -
You will be working on a major overhaul of my clients website
You will be involved in the process of refining requirements, transforming them into the software design, and defining interfaces between the front-end and the back-end
You will implement functionality in the web application
You will interact frequently with the developers working on the back-end systems
You will write automated tests for the functionality you develop
Agile development process is used across the development organization
Your Opportunity
Experience with building complex, responsive, scalable, intuitive and elegant web sites
Expert in advanced JavaScript, including objects, closures, inheritance and AJAX
Experience developing software with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, YUI, Prototype, etc
Experience designing and creating software libraries, APIs, and tools.
Experience with common cross-browser and cross-domain issues.
Experience with Actionscript 3.0
Experience with implementation of user flows
Experience in front-end performance optimization
Deep understanding of browser DOM
Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Write code that is of high quality, easy to understand and maintain (well structured, well documented, and clearly formatted), and efficient
Your Profile
Experience with server-side programming languages and frameworks, especially Java and Java frameworks
Experience with Google Web Toolkit
Experience with content management systems, preferably Tridion
