Forecasting Specialist EMEA


Our client based in Hoofddorp is looking for a Forecasting specialist for their Operations Department.

Purpose:
-To ensure an efficient and effective overall execution of the EMEA Forecasting / PSI process for all EMEA Business segments
-To ensure a smooth overall forecasting process at a strategic, tactical and operational level. You will work closely together with the EMEA Finance, Marketing and Sales teams as well with other related Operations functions (e.g. Planner / Buyers, PTO Planners, NPIMs). Further, you will build up strong relationships with the global forecasting management team, based in the US.

Principal Responsibilities:
•Initiate monthly PSI cycle in EMEA, creating proposed demand and supply plans for all EMEA Business segments.
•Working with EMEA Finance, Marketing and Sales, review forecasts and agree adjustments resulting in a updated PSI
•Ensure that overall agreed PSI numbers are reflected at SKU level
•Obtain EMEA Senior Management approval for the PSI
•Prepare appropriate presentation materials for monthly PSI cycle
•Lead Executive review of PSI from an EMEA perspective
•Ensure forecast numbers are accurately uploaded into Oracle
•Work closely with the Planner / Buyers & PTO Planner as regards forecast adjustments assisting them in identifying any potential supply shortages or excess inventory issues.
•Work closely with the EMEA Sales and Marketing teams as regards significant business opportunities, communicating them internally within Operations and ensuring that realistic supply dates are provided
•Work closely with the Planner / Buyers / NPIMs in regards to forecasts for new products, ensuring that they tie in with Risk Buys
•Work directly with specific customers in obtaining forecasts.
•Provide training to EMEA associates as regards forecasting systems and processes
•Work on any supply chain improvement projects that affect the forecasting process
•Report on the forecasting Key Performance Indicators in EMEA, analyze the deviations from demand and inventory plans and initiate corrective actions
