Supply Chain Executive

Job Profile

The Supply Chain Executive will assist the SC-Manager in the day to day business for the domestic as well as the export markets. They will be fully responsible for managing the Dutch domestic market in which our client's products are shipped from the factories to the logistics service provider and from there to customers in the Netherlands. Goal is, to optimise the Supply Chain's overall performance.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

*To ensure the product availability and freshness at each stage of the supply chain and to optimise the domestic supply chain costs and the amount of working capital involved in inventory of finished products
*To effectively manage supply chain relations with all internal key stakeholders (Finance, Management Accounting, Marketing Finance, Procurement, HR, and Customers) as well as external parties (logistic service provider, factories...)
*To effectively manage all administrative procedures, monitoring the processing of all back-office transactions within the SC department and ensure best practice and high quality standards to guarantee the satisfaction of all stakeholders involved.
*To manage, coach, appraise, guide, support and develop the team of Supply Chain Administrators (7 direct reports).
*To monitor and maintain stock levels and proactively achieve further savings and avoid out of stock issues.
*To manage and control the procedure of returned goods.
*To reasonably act as an issue manager for all SC related issues that may arise during day to day business.
*To provide the management reporting to the SC manager and other members of the management team.

Candidate Profile

*MUST BE absolutely fluent in Dutch AND English (business level required).
*MUST have hands on business level experience with SAP.
*MUST be educated to HBO level, preferably in a Financial or Supply Chain Management direction.
*MUST have 3 to 5 years experience in all around Supply Chain Management, especially in forecasting and inventory management.
*Outstanding communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
*Effective resource management and leadership skills.
*Immunity to stress.
*Strong team player with outstanding interpersonal skills.
*Proactive with a high energy level.
*Management experience is preferable but not mandatory.
*Must be willing to work early office hours (08:00 to 16:30).
