Specifically this means responsibility for the test strategy, test plans, regression test, security test, performance test, stress test, scalability test, supporting user test and automated testing. Besides these core activities it’s important to have an efficient and effective testing organisation with clear, complete and timely reporting to the IT Manager. The standard testing approach used is TMap with an additional attention point on software development process support (for example co-ordination of code reviews). The last responsibility of the Test Engineer is <br />a continues check of the performance of all Compare Group live systems and reporting to the IT Manager. <br /><br />Your home base is the head office in Utrecht, the Netherlands <br /><strong></strong></p><p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:1em;"><strong>Responsibilities and Tasks</strong><br />• Developing/ maintaining testing procedures<br />Creating and maintaining testing procedures and make sure these procedures are part of all Compare Group projects and software.<br />• Quality standards<br />Develop and maintain quality standards for IT projects and live systems. These quality standards should be integrated in all IT processes of the Compare Group.<br />• Documentation<br />Prepare all different tests with the proper templates and documentation. All test results should also be properly documented. The documentation has to be archived properly.<br />• Reporting<br />Regular reporting regarding tests of projects, SR’s and live systems. For reporting templates will be used and kept up-to-date for present needs.<br />• Testing<br />The test engineer is responsible for performing tests including planning and reporting.
