Customer Service (Temporary) - Italian & German - Amerfo

Our international client are the worldwide leaders in the manufacturing and marketing of orthodontic/endodontic products and services. At their European headquarters in Amersfoort, the Netherlands, they sell and distribute products to European, Middle Eastern and African countries.


Responsible for receiving, monitoring and processing customer orders in a timely manner with emphasis on accuracy and professionalism. Interface with other departments to ensure that customer's service requests are processed in a timely manner.


Responsibilities :



  • receives customer orders, service requests and customer complaints by phone, fax, mail or e-mail

  • performs clerical processing of orders and requests which includes record search, investigation of problems and complaints

  • provides customer with accurate information regarding our products and sales promotions, customer orders and our service guidelines (product returns / complaints)

  • gets familiar and adheres to internal policies and procedures regarding order processing and complaint handling

  • complies with ISO procedures


Other responsibilities and duties may be assigned as needed.


Education / Experience :


Highschool, comparable to Dutch HAVO


Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a comparable environment


Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :



  • have/develop proficiency in both customer service and sales administration skills

  • strong communication skills (clear, intelligible verbal communication, probe for information) as communication with customers and sales reps is often needed

  • ability to operate computer systems with accuracy and efficiency

  • have ability to prioritize

  • give attention to detail

  • basic knowledge of Excel and Word

  • ability to work independently

  • flexible and outgoing team player personality with conflict resolution skills

  • ability to adapt and implement new procedures as required to provide excellent customer service


Language skills :



  • fluent in Italian and German (mother tongue or comparable knowledge)

  • other languages (French etc.) are a plus although not requested
