Mechanical Engineer

Due to increase in business, they are now looking to expand their current team in several areas, including the design department.

The Mechanical Engineer’s responsibilities will be set, but not limited to the following:

• Technical support to field and factory in analyzing mechanical and electromechanical design problems;
• Initiate corrective action by redesigning parts and mechanisms as required;
• Document changes by updating engineering drawings and specs;
• Writing ECNs, and directing configuration management on redesign issues.
• Investigate and resolve reports of design failures from factory and field.
• Transfer new designs to electronic drawing format and write ECNs as necessary;
• Perform direct configuration management in adding revised designs properly to product structure;
• Develop and maintain expertise on mechanical peripheral devices: coin mechanisms, coin hoppers, bill validations. Communicate this knowledge, as required, to colleagues both in the USA HQ and in the field, and participate in technical discussions with manufacturers of mechanical peripheral devices.

Requirements:

• BS Mechanical Engineering;
• Minimum five years in design of mechanical parts and/or assemblies;
• Trained in recent release of AutoCAD;
• Highly detailed oriented;
• Literate in common MS Office environment;
• Good written and oral communication skills;
• Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers;
• Must have a passion for the software gaming industry;
• Must be self-motivated.
