Job description
- Implement approved regional strategies for the sales and marketing of the company's commodities and develop and maintain niche product markets whilst maintaining the company's global position in the relevant iron and steel industry
- Implement focused sales and marketing strategies - Strategic plans and programs
- Develop focused marketing plans - Marketing program and schedule
- Negotiate and secure sales contracts into Middle East & North Africa - Customer portfolio
- Do budgeting and forecasts - Cost targets and objectives
- Track marketing performance - Tonnages sold and revenue figures
- Manage own function and area - Performance management results
- Track sales performance - Market segment targets and contracts
- Identify opportunities for product development - Customer needs and product specs
- Identify markets and customers that will realise long term business objectives within the region
- Track business performance and initiate long term improvements
- Make budgetary decisions within own area
- Promote relationships with key stakeholders

Requirements
- In possession of a relevant 4 year or Honours degree and preferably a postgraduate degree in business management
- 8-10 years relevant experience
- Relevant marketing and sales and business management experience as well as experience in the iron ore or steel industry
- Understanding of Arabic business processes and culture would be beneficial
- Drive for results
- Commercial awareness and delivery focus
- Strategic influence

Please note that this position will be based in Luxembourg.

Salary indication
Negotiable depending on relevant experience
