SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER TEXTILE

The Senior Product Manager reports to the marketing Director and is responsible for the general management of his/her product lines. He/she is in charge of production definition, pricing, positioning, and distribution strategy.

Managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical approach, he/she identifies and defines key product features and capabilities based upon internal (Management & Sales) & external (client) input.

The Senior Product Manager also performs regular market analysis in order to identify opportunities and to impose himself/herself internally & externally as the market expert on his/her product range.

Consequently, he/she organizes the launch, maintenance and discontinuity of standard products, coordinating with all departments.

The Senior Product Manager defines, initiates, and conducts the necessary market studies and analysis to prepare the appropriate market requirements documents (MRD) for delivery to the Sourcing.

Coordinating with all departments, he/she develops and implements a company wide go-to-market plan. Following the definition of the go-to-market strategy with Communications, he/she closely follows all product development activities in order to guarantee quality and ensure timely availability.

Responsible for market sizing and product profitability, the Senior Product Manager defines a competitive pricing model and positioning for all markets and buyers. He/she monitors continuously the product lines P&L
and conducts monthly margin analys to identify corrective actions. He/she provides annual forecasts and conducts monthly sales analysis to support timely forecast reviews and adjusments in liaison with the Planning department.

Finally, relying on his/her market knowledge, customer insight and creativity, the Senior Product Manager proposes and evaluates the effectiveness of seasonal promotions with a strict ROI mindset.
