This leading Distribution organisation is recruiting a Lead Occupational Health Practitioner to provide an effective and commercially aware Occupational Health service and Manage a small team of Occupational Health Advisors.

Responsibilities

You’ll manage a team whose job it is to help minimise risk to staff and offer advice on Management of health to all Employees.
You’ll be responsible for sickness and absence Management; carry out pre-employment screening and employee medicals; undertake workplace assessments and continuously promote health and wellbeing to all employees.

You

You’ll have relevant occupational health qualifications with experience gained within an occupational health department. With well-developed communication and presentation skills you’ll be a clear decision maker with the ability to work on your own initiative as well as manage a team. You should be organised with a flexible approach to work and as the role requires travel to sites in and around the Yorkshire area, a full driving licence is essential.
