Client Accountant – Isle of Man

"This Isle of Man based independent taxation, financial and business services company is looking to add a Client Accountant to its growing team.

The Client Accountant provides a true end to end accounting service for their designated clients. Duties you can expect to be involved in include the preparation, management of financial accounts and the provision technical advice on VAT legislation. On occasion you will also be asked to deal with the VAT registration of businesses and the completion of returns. Finally you can also expect to undertake detailed analysis of clients' cash requirements, and produce budgets and profit forecasts.

The successful applicant for the Client Accountant role will have detailed previous experience of the preparation of client accounts and VAT. This will be combined with a structured accountancy training – ideally they will be working towards completion of the ACCA or CIMA qualifications. The Client Accountant requires a good understanding of commercial office computer skills, in particular experience of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook is essential. Experience of electronic banking would be an additional advantage, as would knowledge of SAGE.
