Job: Trainee Manager
Salary: £21,000 (£18,000 + £3,000 sleep-ins)

Location: Cheshire – Home to the beautiful medieval city of Chester

This employer provides residential care for children and young people who are unable to live in the family home or with their parents. The young people in the home have very specific needs. Many, for example, suffer from attachment disorders and various psychological issues – this is reflected in the therapeutical practices within the homes.

The homes are small and family-like, providing medium/long term care to these young people.

We are looking for candidates who have some residential childcare experience and who feel they are ready to take the first steps into management.

Requirements:

• Qualifications in: Social Work, Social Pedagogy, Pedagogy
• Good skills in communicating & listening
• Good English
• Flexibility
• Driving License
• Availability to start working January/February 2010
• EU citizens only as work permit not provided
