Information Analyst

Information Analyst/ BI Analyst / Business Intelligence Analyst. Information Analyst required with experience in delivering reporting and analysis solutions to a variety of business areas including Operations, Finance and Compliance within a Financial Services context. The successful candidate will possess a sound understanding of the basics of business finance such as cashflow statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements and will also have an awareness of such issues as commercial funding, securitisation and the use of the financial metrics for measuring performance. Strong background in SQL 2005 / 2009 query definition is required with demonstrable understanding of SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and Microsoft Sharepoint. Knowledge of reporting and analysis tools such as Cognos and SAS would be a distinct advantage.

The successful candidate will provide high quality information and insight to support decision making, development and evaluation of my clients business strategies by developing and maintaining an advanced data warehouse environment.

Initially this is a 6 month fixed term contract but there is the possibility the role will be come permanent.
