Senior ITS Engineer

A Senior ITS Engineer with Transport System experience is required by a leading global consultancy to be based in the Glasgow area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects in the ITS field, as well as providing technical expertise. In return, you'll be offered a salary between £40,000 - £48,000 + Benefits.

Responsibilities of the role:

- Manage projects and the ITS project team.
- Provide technical expertise.
- Develop innovative technology solutions to support clients business objectives.
- Manage the development of traffic management and traffic information systems.
- Trialling technology solutions in the roadside environment.
- Securing repeat business.

Required experience:

- Proven background in ITS managing delivery of technical projects for road authorities in the UK.
- High levels of self motivation.
- Demonstrates innovative thinking
- Experience of working with local highways authorities and also the Highways Agency.
- Prince2 qualified
- Qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar IT related field.
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Software develpment process experience (UML)
