Performance Test Analyst*5

Job Description:
To form part of a pool of automated and Performance testing expertise that is responsible for supporting the projects and systems. These include a variety of customers in the public and private sector.

Duties will include :

Overall Objectives:
• To develop, execute and maintain the test assets in line with the agreed Test Strategy, Test Procedures and Test Plans.
• To support the Test Manager/Test Lead in providing timely and accurate information on the stability and Performance quality of the systems delivered.
• To provide relevant information as early as possible on the project’s lifecycle.

Skills:

•Previous testing experience
• Previous Performance Testing Experience
• Mercury Toolset Experience (LoadRunner)
• Facilitate Forecast Experience
• VB Knowledge
• Simulation Modelling
• Mercury Automation toolset (WinRunner, QTP)
• ‘C’ Knowledge
• Web applications, (HTML, ASP, Java Applet) (optional)
• JAVA Knowledge
• N-tier database applications, (SQL, Relational Database)
• Experience of client/server and/or Oracle platform
• Working knowledge of Unix operating system and file management
• Etester Experience
• Weblogic Experience

Qualifications & certifications:

* ISTQB Foundation certification in testing would be desirable
* LoadRunner / Performance Center certifications desirable
