The company is a leading provider of mission-critical, non-core Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Information Technology _ solutions to blue-chip clients worldwide.

The company has a rapidly growing presence in Europe, Middle East and Africa, with over 2,000 specialists employed in the region. Their current projects centralize and redesign the core processes around Human Resources, Finance and Administration and IT for the company's European clients.

A vacancy has arisen for a Finance & Accounting Team Leader. Leading a team of up to 10 specialists at the company’s Barcelona offices, the jobholder will be responsible for:

• Preparing journal entries; maintaining and reconciling ledger accounts
• Balancing books or accounts and preparing profit/loss, income and balance sheet statements
• Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records
• Preparing and analyzing financial statements and monthly reports
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliation and margin trend analysis
• Assisting with audits by providing supporting records and documentation
• Conducting studies and developing solutions for improving accounting processes
• Preparing and analyzing tax records and reports
• Preparing tax returns
• Assisting in preparing statistical and financial reports
• Maintaining records and performing miscellaneous tax assignments
• Working on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors, exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Building productive internal/external working relationships.

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Accounting or equivalent.
• 3/5 years' related experience, 2 of which in managing teams.
• Very good level of English spoken and written.
• Spoken and written French advantageous
