French Speaking Technical Specialist - Elisa, Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot

Our client is an international specialty manufacturer of biological products operating in the areas of Biotechnology and Haematology. At their modern offices in Oxfordshire they have an immediate requirement for a Technical Service Specialist with French language skills to join their marketing and technical services department.
As a vital member of the team your primary responsibilities will involve you supporting and promoting our client in the life sciences market, with the aim of providing an efficient and accurate technical service to both customers and the internal sales team. Regular liaison with our client's facility in the USA and clients/customers in France via telephone, email and fax will also be required to help answer specific technical questions and as such you will need to be able to disseminate information efficiently and effectively.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to have gained relevant clinical, academic or commercial laboratory experience and especially be familiar with Elisa, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot techniques. You will also be educated to at least degree level in a relevant life science subject and possess excellent verbal and written French language skills. A good level of computer literacy is also desirable along with good attention to detail and the ability to work in a methodical manner. If you have gained previous experience working in an office/sales environment this will be beneficial but not essential.
37.5 hours per week and depending on your preference times can coincide with France or the UK, so either a 8am or 9am start, and a 4.30 or 5.30 finish. Lunch is 45 mins per day and Friday is either a 3.15 or 4.15 finish depending on French or UK time.
