Successful candidates will be invited to organise and manage a team of high level J2EE software engineers, working in the Belgrade office for the implementation of international IT projects.

Tasks:

• Prepare / process software specifications, define tasks, and distribute them to the development team
• Design and implement the development framework for J2EE applications
• Participate in high-level technical meetings for the selection of the implementation technologies and techniques
• Supervise / evaluate the development work and provide technical assistance to the team of developers
• Otimise the use of the resources and apply internal reporting procedures
• Plan combined project activities and set priorities and synergies between various J2EE projects
• Identify needs of resources and launch selection procedures
• Represent the company in key technical meetings with the customers.

Essential qualifications:

• University degree in Information Technology or a similar subject
• Minimum 3-year experience in leading positions in the IT industry
• Excellent knowledge of written and oral English
• Excellent Command of the Java Programming Language

• Strong background on MVC technologies (Struts, Spring, etc)
• Experience in EJB 3.0
• Sound knowledge of ORM technologies (Hibernate, iBatis, etc)
• Experience with application servers (JBOSS, WebLogic, WebShpere, etc)
• Experience with Design Patterns and Agile methodologies
• Good Understanding of XML, XSL, HTML, CSS, AJAX
• Experience in Testing tools (JUnit, Cactus) and Build tools (Ant, Maven)
• Knowledge of Spring framework and Ruby on Rails
• Strong background on J2EE fundamentals (RMI, JMS)

Desirable qualifications:

• Dynamic personality with excellent communication skills
• Goal oriented with a “can do” attitude taking the ownership of his/her assignments

• Familiarity with international projects
