Accounting Manager

Our client is a leading extreme sports clothing and retail company. with their European head office based in Amsterdam. The culture of the company can be described as dynamic and entrepreneurial with a focus on environmentally sustainable business practices.

Amsterdam- €40,000- €47,500- dynamic environment

• Responsible for all month end closing activities
• Overall maintenance of chart of accounts and general ledger
• Monitor daily activities and performance of accounting staff as well as review thwir performance on a regular basis
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP
• In coordination with EU Controller manage the development and maintenance of internal controls related to accounting and general ledger activities as well as develop a procedures manuel

• A minimum of five years all-round accounting experience
• Experience in managing other staff or acting as a team leader
• Fluent in English- Dutch or other languages considered a plus
• Hard-working and able to work independently
• Good sense of humour and able to work well in a dynamic, informal environment!

€40,000- €47,500 plus extras,
