Financial Analysts Manager

For our international client, a global player in software technologies, content management and distribution solutions, we are currently looking for an experienced Financial Analysts Manager who will be based in the international office in the Amsterdam region.

Job Profile

Managing the Financial Analysts Department, which is responsible for the financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting. Maintain a high level of interaction and coordination between parent company financial staff, financial staff in the various subsidiaries and other staff outside of the financial functional area. Be the key person in managing relationships and the flow of information. The Financial Analysts manager will be a member of the board of a specific business unit.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Management of 3 Financial Analysts in their day to day tasks.
• Responsibility for the preparation of Budgets and Forecasts, (half-) yearly audit packs including disclosures.
• Monthly reporting: Consolidation of numbers in HFM; report to Mother Company; management reporting; sales, general and administrative expense reports and analysis and meeting with budget owners.
• Processes: inter control processes, Revenue recognition processes, Capex procedure, Intercompany confirmations.
• Tax and subsidy filing and reconciliations
• Insurance policies and claims
• Handling ad hoc information requests
• Back up for Financial Controller

Candidate Profile

• MUST possess excellent communication skills in English, written and verbally.
• MUST HAVE 5 to 8 years experience in a mid-size international company at a comparable level, including experience in managing a group of people.
• Thorough knowledge and experience in IFRS and internal control processes is required.
• University degree in Economics or a comparable international education.
• Systems affinity and knowledge and experience with ERP systems (AX09, SAP or similar).
• Extensive knowledge and experience with spread sheet programs.
• Exceptional organisational and analytical skills.
• Hands on mentality.
• Ability to deal with confidential information.
• Capability to handle strict and frequent deadlines.
