Demand Planner - Amsterdam

Demand Planner - Amsterdam 38,000 - 42,000 Euros + Benefits

Manufacturer and supplier of Consumer Electronics is looking for a Demand Planner to provide an up-to-date view of market demand for a group of regions, as well as being responsible for the measurement and improvement of these results.

Key Responsibilities
-Sales Forecasting and Reporting: To ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and fulfil current and future product demand by managing the monthly forecast function and all associated activities for designated countries.
-New Product Launch Support: To ensure the accurately planned, timely and effective launch of new products by supporting the on-time delivery of new products to customers, whilst minimising excess and obsolete stocks of superseded products.
-Communication: To effectively manage expectations by proactively alerting the Demand Planning Manager, Buyers and other teams on significant deviations between sales and forecast, forecast changes and potential stock shortages.

As the ideal candidate you will have the following experience: -

-3-4 years experience in Supply Chain planning.
-Understanding of demand planning techniques and supply chain processes and systems within a European business.
-Assertive with excellent influencing skills - in particular, experience in developing effective relationships with sales and product management teams.
-Excellent communication, numerical analysis, PC and spreadsheet skills.
-Experience of a dynamic, high SKU count consumer business.
-"Hands-on" style - able to demonstrate a track record of identifying and delivering process improvements.
-Experience of working within a matrix structure - able to maintain direction without direct supervision
-Fluent in English, both spoken and written, additional European language advantageous.
