The Background:

Reporting to the Global Mobility Manager, the successful candidate will provide an in-house end-to-end assignment management service for this market-leading organisation. Predominantly dealing with senior, VP and executive moves this companies assignee population totals 700 expatriates both inbound and outbound. Ultimately you will work as a pro-active team member to support the aims of Global Mobility in the UK and globally, to provide an efficient, high quality, client focused service.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Full end-to-end assignment management of expatriate assignees from the initial to final debriefing on both an inbound and outbound basis

Build and maintain relationships with both expatriate assignees and the associated business unit managers

Support the decision making process when selecting the most suitable expatriates for each individual assignment

Provide professional advice regarding expatriate policy issues and the associated cost implications

Additional ad hoc projects

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have previous experience of: international assignments, expatriate management or global mobility issues. Applicants will have an excellent understanding of assignment life cycle and the associated issues from start to finish. Applicants with any additional knowledge of expatriate compensation, payroll or taxation methodologies would be desirable.
