For an international chemical company in Ridderkerk we are looking for a:

German or French Customer Service Representative

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Support & Customer Service:
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
- Direct other customer enquiries to the correct sales or technical manager.
- Keep regular contact with Sales and agents.
- Prepare reports from Movex as required.
- Monitor and update agreements with internal customers to ensure all necessary services are provided.

Order Processing:
- Receive verbal or written orders from customers, Sales or agents.
- Check credit status of the customer.
- Allocate material to customers based on sales forecasts and availability.
- Issue order confirmation.
- Issue invoices and other documentation e.g certificates of analysis, safety data sheets.
- Monitor call-off contracts.
- Maintain records of live orders, delivery dates etc.
- Perform credit control and assist with cash collection as necessary in liaison with company's Cash Management Department.

Distribution & Stock Control:
- Instruct warehouse of release and delivery requirements.
- Receive goods into warehouse stock in Movex.
- Inventory control by monitoring and reconciliation.
- Material planning in liaison with the manufacturing plants and production planner.
- Place orders for new material in Movex.
- Register transport costs in Movex.
- Contact customers to keep them updated of the status of their order .
- Prepare CMR
